sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.

This extension installed quickly and allowed me to download images from pinterest without logging in! It was pretty intuitive. I had to add the plugin to my address bar and then click on it. I give it 4 stars!

Pretty good, simply adds direct links to the images in little "download" buttons. Right clicking the download link and saying "save link as" is the quickest way.
only putting it as 4 stars and not 5 since it's not like pindown where u can download an entire board, and would not be helpful when you're trying to bulk download, but for our use, it is fine.
UPDATE! the colors are differenciated to tell you if it's a jpg or png and i think that's VERY neat and helpful.

Update for previous version: It seems that Pinterest is progressively changing something on their website, making it impossible to use this extension in an ever increasing number of cases, and if can download a pic, it is often smaller than the original size. Not the fault of the extension, but it is what it is.
When one gets "access denied" when you try to open a pin, just replace "originals" by "1200x" in the address, and reload.

It was a brilliant extension until yesterday (18.2.2024). 1)You made it download the picture directly, but I want to see the picture in full size before I download it. I don't want to download pictures that are too small or actually don't look good in full size 2)In the previous version one could also right click to download directly. Why is the right click gone? You could have made the opposite: to right click to open a picture. 3) It downloads all pictures as png now!!! Why did you do that?!!! I removed the new update and installed the older version, and blocked the automatic update. Click the "see all versions" link, bottom left of the main page to find the older version.

Firstly, there are some comments that say that this extension doesn't work.

I'm using Firefox 78.12.0esr on Debian Linux and I'm logged in to Pinterest and it works fine for me.

After installing this extension, and agreeing to the "Allow this extension to run in Private Windows" message, the icon will appear in the top right.

When you're on a Pinterest page, click on the Pinterest Downloader icon (top right).

You should then see a Download button over all the images.

NOTE: As you scroll down the page and more images appear, you will need to click on the Pinterest Downloader icon again for the Download button to appear.

This isn't a problem with the extension, just how Pinterest works.

Clicking the Download button opens up the image in a new tab. You can then save the image.

Handy hint: I use Pinterest Downloader in combination with the Cute Save Button extension, so that when the image opens in a new tab, I can just click on the Cute Save Button instead of having to right click on the image.

click the button, tells me to log in to download. i log in, then click the button. nothing. doesnt work

Thank you for the simple and amazing product, I wish I could download the image right away without previewing. It would be amazing for large amount of images.

No tiene opciones ni configuracion, no descarga y si lo ahce no dice donde.
