Should appear much before I install this extension and try to signup for free.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 5 MonatenThe default auto-connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users.
That said, you still have the option to switch to another randomly allocated server, or you can upgrade to connect to a specific server. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon Vladislav, vor 6 Monaten

Potentially Proton is misleading people into thinking it's free. That is unfair. But overall, I've had a good experience with Proton VPN. Suits my needs for a global VPN.

geschrieben am vor 6 MonatenSorry to hear that. Could you share more details about the issue? What are the exact steps you're taking that lead to the problem? Which specific server(s) are you connected to in the process? Have you tried multiple different servers? Contact us at protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can help. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Maleficient, vor 6 MonatenYou have to create an account with the Swiss operator, then choose a paid subscription and in the description on the Mozilla site, this is cleverly passed over in silence.

Il faut créer un compte chez l’opérateur suisse, puis choisir un abondement payant et dans la description sur le site Mozilla, c’est habillement passé sous silence.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 6 MonatenWe do have a Free plan that costs $0 and allows you to secure your internet connection with no ads, no logs, and provides the same level of privacy and security as our paid plans. Anyone can sign up for our Free plan, and we don't ask for any payment details during signup. That said, having an account does not endanger your privacy and security in any way. - Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 18822358, vor 6 MonatenLiterally always connects to the same server, doesn't matter what u do. 🤡

However, no matter how many times I try to reconnect, it always connects to a server in my country and never to servers in other countries, so I would like to see an improvement.

- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon J4ck, vor 6 MonatenThe extension is a must have. It currently has a small bug related to the disconnection of the account which happens randomly but I think it's gonna be fixed soon, since Proton Team already acknowledged it. It doesn't leak, it's pretty fast and it's super easy to use. Good job!
- Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon FC, vor 7 MonatenIt simply works. Automatic (free tier) server connection and it gets the job done, without leaking anything
- Bewertet mit 1 von 5 Sternenvon Justsomeone, vor 7 MonatenThis is garbage, there is no way to try a server outside of your own country for free

Much appreciated. Wish I could pay... hopefully in the future. Unfortunately, it does not work for me on my phone :( postmarketOS on Linux ARM device.

geschrieben am vor 6 MonatenSorry to hear that. Proton VPN is currently officially supported on the latest stable versions of Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora, using GNOME desktop environment. Moreover, the browser extension itself, it's not optimized for mobile devices at the moment. Nonetheless, we've passed on your feedback to the team for future improvements.
