von Firefox-Benutzer 17592188, vor 3 JahrenExactly what I needed. Firefox should include this functionality by default, and should allow you to select what hotkeys to use (ALT+Q is perfect)
There currently appears to be an odd behavior though. If you have multiple browser windows open and you are navigating between tabs between browser windows it will not remember your previous tabs.
For instance. I have 2 windows open, each with 2 tabs in them. I click on the 2 tabs in one browser window, and I can Alt+Q between them no problem, but then I go to another browser window, click on a tab, and come back to the original window, the original window doesn't remember the previous tab anymore.

But it miss one thing, when you close one of the active tab you switched between, it stops and wait when you activate second tab again with a mouse, then it starts to switch again.
In Chrome, quite the same addon worked better, when you close one of the tab, it starts to switched between previous active tab, then next and next, it goes down by active tabs history, very handy and saves a lot of time. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon ChrispyChris, vor 5 JahrenI've been looking for a super simple way to just use the keyboard to switch to my previous tab without any extra bloat and this extension does the trick perfectly. Thanks!
I was really interested in how you were able to code this up, I imagine it is fairly simple, and I know some programming, so I was curious if you would be interested in sharing the source code or something. I would appreciate that a lot. - Bewertet mit 5 von 5 Sternenvon olegzbf, vor 7 Jahren
