Nope. This will not work until the horizontal tabs can be eliminated. It is way too odd to have two tabs areas showing.

Tree-style tabs are more compact and orderly than organizing tabs through the normal tabs bar. This extension has a few bugs in it, but it's still indispensable to saving time on the internet! Thank you, Piro. :)

Perfect when opening lots of tabs on a widescreen monitor. All tabs remain readable contrary to the normal tab layout.

This is must have extension. It would be even greater if it could work in tandem with ColorfulTabs.

Just to remind older comments. One can hide FireFox tab bar and Side Panel title with userChrome.css file like that:

The best vertical tabs solution. I cannot use Firefox without it.

After Firefox killed TabMixPlus I thought I would have to switch to another browser. Eventually I found Tree Style Tab, which is even better. Now I just wish I had a way to turn off Firefox's own tabs, since they are so lacking in features as to be almost useless.

Pretty happy with this after doing some of the "Advanced" style customizations that the author suggests on the wiki. This is a much better tree-tab experience than anything I was ever able to achieve with Chrome (Sidewise is the best I found there).

Thank you for making something that works with Firefox 57! I know you're doing the best you can with the limitations, and thank you for the helpful information on the Wiki!

Pretty good, only issue is when used with Sync Tab Groups it does not restore the tree structure (the whole view is flattened). That's probably something that Sync Tab Groups has to support, though.

Ever since 57 this looks disgusting. Still the best addon out there though.

This combined with scrollbar anywhere made firefox the single best browser. Both dont work right anymore. RIP Firefox.

It's a great idea and a perfectly well made extension but it's usefulness is limited by the release of Firefox v57. Hopefully Piro can work with the Firefox team to eliminate the mandatory horizontal tab toobar. It looks like there's tickets filed for this here:

Tab Tree no longer works - so switched to this.

I think I like it better.

You can open tabs in categories, you can collapse a tree and close all the children tabs with one-click.

One very useful addition would be the ability to switch between tabs by scrolling with the mouse wheel while hovering above the sidebar

The "new child tab" does'nt work, even if correctly selected in the pref
There is no possibility to middle cliq and have the possibility to create a new child tab...

WOuld very great if TTS interact with multi-account containe, so that a new child tab has the same contaner as its parent
