- Bewertet mit 3 von 5 Sternenvon Grey Dobson, vor 3 JahrenIt was nice when it worked, but occasionally it produces a black bar with the word "Null" in it that spans my entire browser, and makes Twitter unusable. I'm disappointed because I had liked it a lot.

- When there’s a lot of text, it can cover the image. Ideally, showing the text below the image rather than on top of it would be better, but it might be difficult with Twitter’s styles.
- One feature suggestion: it would be great if the “Missing alt text” message could be shown when writing a tweet, if an image doesn’t have alt text yet.Antwort des Entwicklers
geschrieben am vor 4 JahrenI agree, it's annoying that alt text can end up covering the image. I wasn't able to come up with a good solution when I wrote the code, but would like to look again at some point.
I love your feature suggestion! I don't tweet that often so it didn't occur to me, but that's a great idea. - Bewertet mit 4 von 5 Sternenvon Firefox-Benutzer 15285165, vor 5 JahrenIt would be really great if it only showed the alt text if you chose to, like if you clicked the little "alt" tag in the corner, also it currently stays there and covers some text and I think it's completely unnecessary to show under 99% of images that they don't have alt text as twitter already does that by not showing "alt"

geschrieben am vor 4 JahrenThat's actually how I initially planned for this to work because that "alt" icon looks like a button to me. One reason why I didn't go that route was because not all images with alt text show that icon, and I couldn't figure out why. It also doesn't show up on different types of media, like gifs (which show a "gif" icon instead).
I get that the warning message when there's no alt text is probably not helpful to a lot of people, but I like knowing if the tweets I interact with can be read by everyone. It helps me remember to ask people to include alt text next time, or to potentially include it myself. If there's just nothing there, I forget about it (which is exactly what happens when I use Twitter on my phone).
Thanks for the feedback!
