Data Protection Information

The software used is client / server software. vitero’s rights / roles system makes it necessary to create certain users (group leaders, administrator’s) and thus to collect personal data. Session participants can log in via a link, without personal data being collected; except for the IP address, which is automatically deleted after the session. However, if user accounts are created in the Vitero Management System, e.g. for a login with nametag and avatar picture, personal data is collected as well. Pursuant to Article 6 (1) b) GDPR, the permitted action is “the performance of contractual obligations”.

The attendance times in the virtual room are saved in the server anonymously or personalised, according to customer configuration. The moderator or session manager may record the session incl. sound and video.

The vitero customer / contractual partner may have, as responsible authority according to GDPR, other data protection policies for the use of the software which then are to be observed.
