    Works good but on some web sites breaks audio completely (e.g. Steam) and it's not possible to know that audio is broken unless you know it should be playing on the website. Too much hustle...

    Its because steam blocks it in their CSP, sadly lots of CDNs do.
    I could individually add each one to the FQDNS list, but like you said that's a lot of hassle and it has to be reaproved by mozzila everytime etc.
    The way audio source is pulled is on page load. If it's doing it too late lots of sites won't interact with the plugin. Where as its an issue on sites with strict CSP as then it just blocks audio.
    So sadly there's nothing I can do about it, without further reducing compatible sites.
    Could maybe make a whitelist mode instead of a blacklist mode in the future.

    Wouldve been a 5 star cause it does do the increase volume thing well, but for some reason it causes multiple elements on the website d2l (which i use for my college courses) to break. No clue why or how it does this, but because of this I'm forced to uninstall the extention

    It's most likely because it interacts on page load and your site has a strict CSP. If you add it to the FQDNS list the page may then work.

    works just fine on for me relevant websites

    BUT

    blocks amazon prime and disney plus videoplayer. so in order to stream any movie on these sites i have to deactivate the extension.

    Far better than other sound addons. Does the job, doesn't broke the pages and no ads/clickbait.

    Works sometimes but often I load up a page and the video has no sound at all, especially on twitter, until I disable and re-enable the extension. Would be nice if it remembered settings too.

    The only one volume extension that actually could make the sound overly loud for good. But for some reason it just doesn't remember the volume setting.

    Do make setting per page basis for this extension.

    Sadly, I was having a lot of issues implementing the ability to save the volume per page, and most videos on a page are diferent volume anyways so this is not a planned feature.

    Simple et efficace. Garde en mémoire le réglage effectuer pour les shorts suivant contrairement a d'autre extension qui reset le volume après un Skip. Je préfère.

    Hulu seems to not load video unless this is disabled, but otherwise has been nice to use when volume sliders are missing from a site.

    Would be a great addon if it werent for the fact it loves to change volumes randomly. On youtube, sometimes it will just decide to blow out my eardrums OR go insanely quiet to where i can barely hear it, and nothing prompts this happening. The slider showing how much its boosting/lowering the volume doesnt change at all either, but it definitely gets way louder/quieter than i can even make it go. Hope this gets fixed soon because I like this addon

    The volume should not be able to move on its own, but when the popup.htm is opened, the slider is highlighted. So if you're in windows for example and have a controller plugged in, it interacts with the slider so controller drift can be an issue in that case. But otherwise I asusme your issue is not the extension itself but the videos you're watchin/diferent scenes being diferent volume. In which case you'd want a normalizer. But I don't think there's a way to do it in chromium rather you should use third party application for example I have a python one in progress which is published in my github for windows....

    Garbage extension. Muted a whole bunch of sites randomly after they already worked while the extension was installed.

    It works well, one minor, one major flaw, would be a 5 star otherwise...

    Minor flaw : could boost volume by more than 32db (I'm hard of hearing).

    Major flaw : Does NOT keep setting. Keep setting it at +32, as soon as I navigate to another page, or even refresh the page, it forgets the setting and goes back to 0.

    Please allow it to be kept at the user setting.
