Waddles stores dashboard settings, links, notes, widget layout, tags, timers, and cached weather forecasts locally in Firefox.

Waddles does not use analytics, advertising, telemetry, cookies, and does not sell or share user data.

Weather is disabled by default. If you enable it, Firefox asks for optional permission to access Open-Meteo. Waddles sends only the weather location you enter to Open-Meteo to geocode it and retrieve a forecast.

External favicons are disabled by default. If you enable them, configured link domains are requested from DuckDuckGo’s icon service to retrieve site icons.

You can disable both features in Settings at any time.
