YouTube Shorts Upload Date does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data with the developer.

The add-on runs only on youtube.com pages. To show upload dates, it reads visible YouTube Shorts links and requests YouTube video metadata from YouTube using the current browser session. This means YouTube may receive requests for Shorts video IDs that are already visible in the page or currently being watched.

The add-on stores a local cache of Shorts video IDs and upload dates in the browser's localStorage for YouTube pages. This cache stays on the user's device and is used only to avoid repeatedly fetching the same upload date.

No analytics, tracking pixels, remote scripts, or developer-controlled servers are used.
