New features are somewhat confusing for usual users like me. Should I enable transparency blocking?! ot it doesn't matter much?!
Also when updated some options are missing like the "Ignore the most frequent colors".
Also why not to set Random Number to Persistent by default, it will be changed on every browser startup, right?!

The former versions faked the transparency always. But since this channel is treated differently by the browsers I think it is saver to not fake it. It does not affect the security.

Regarding the missing options: only these options are displayed that are useful with the other selected options. The mentioned "ignore the most frequent colors" is only displayed in expert mode and when faking the read API.

For the default random number generator I ask you to open an issue at github. This has to be discussed in more depth. I myself are not sure what the default should be.

    This add-on breaks Google Maps on mobile. Google Maps is completely unusable; I am forever stuck on a constantly loading page that keeps switching between a blank page and the Google Maps page. Uninstalling this add-on did nothing, clearing cache and cookies did nothing, and even whitelisting the site itself in Canvas Blocker didn't do anything. I only ever started having this issue upon using this add-on.
    And no, I'm not making an off-site account just to report this problem, I'm posting it here. Ridiculous.

    One of the essential plugins for everyone that care about anonymity when you surf on the web.     Seems to work, if you test it at browserleaks(dot)com / canvas with the plugin on, keeps giving new signatures at each refresh, if you turn the plugin off, the signature will remain the same

    Works very well. If you want to test this addon whether it works or not, just visit the page which is mentioned in the description. (for example: browserleaks website)

    It's just a shame that I only recently discovered canvas fingerprinting, even though it's been around for so long. Keep your privacy up folks.

    I became suspicious when there is no tally count, so I went to coveryourtracks.eff. ran the fingerprinting scan and found the app was doing absolutely nothing at all but sitting in my browser collecting info.I will be removing it.And running a system malware scan.

    I like the concept of the addon but this is basically useless until the developer explains literally anywhere how to add sites to the whitelist and the settings page doesn't absolutely suck.

    Only really useful if you are the developer and understand all of the obtuse menu options.
