It doesn't work at all, the icon is constantly disabled and doesn't "turn on" and there's no way to turn it on - I don't know why Firefox allowed such an addon to be published. I tried everything from the "documentation", read all the comments, reinstalled my browser several times - it is still disabled.

Go to manage extensions, then options then "use fixed location" to nail a location down.
