After downloading for my Mozilla Focus it says cannot open an .xpi file. Can't use .

Your issue likely applies to any add-on you are trying to install on Mozilla Focus since it does not support installing add-ons from the browser, which makes sense since Focus is a product whose primary purpose is to ensure the highest data privacy and security: allowing any add-on created by random people would be a massive potential for data breach and hacking. Most people use Firefox Desktop or Firefox for Android, and add-ons work fine there. There has been a recent upgrade from Mozilla that might allow you to install the .xpi though: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1814123. Feel free to open an issue in our Github repo if you'd like to discuss more, but again, we never claimed that this add-on would work on a Firefox product that isn't suited for add-ons.

    I could add it to it to mute the video even if is acelerated and put a black screen that hide the screen until ends the ad.

    it doesn't play well with picture in picture, but i've tried many ad-skippers and this is the only one so far that actually does what it says. hope it stays that way.

    It fortunately survived whatever new anti-adssault detection YouTube recently deployed, which is more than I can say for my usual preferred YouTube adblocker. The auto-skip unfortunately doesn't work most of the time, but that's a pretty minor annoyance compared to having to sit through the entire ad.

    Used to be great, but now, for some reason it speeds up regular videos, where there is no ad. I have like 10+ addons and it was difficult to figure out which one of them was causing the problem.

    Worked great until yestersay, atm it accelerates the whole video, not just the ads ... maybe i have to re-check the settings

    Thanks! Could you make sure that, in the extension settings, "If Skip Available" is set to "Click button"? We had to disable it by default as it seems to trigger the youtube detection banner. We might need to consider keeping it enabled by default on mobiles if it doesn't cause any detection issue there. Let us know in the form if you have any additional feedback or reply. For example, if it doesn't click on the button even when "If Skip Available" is set to "Click button", it is likely that the youtube HTML content (e.g., class names or css tags) differs from the typical one based on your location and / or language. In such case, you can help us upgrade the extension, to include the config related to your region/language, by uploading (part of) the HTML content (when the skip button is visible but not clicked) in the form.

    5 stars for being an awesome app for the months I've been using it!

    Had some trouble today, but uninstall and reinstall seems to have fixed it...
