Privacy Policy – HTTP/3 & QUIC Checker

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
All analysis is performed locally in the user's browser.

Processed information:
- The "alt-svc" response header and the network protocol used for the page
(HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3) are evaluated locally only, in order to set the
toolbar icon.
- The last detected status is cached for the current session only, in local
browser storage (storage.session).

No data is transmitted to the developer or to any third party. No user data is
sold or shared. There is no tracking and no analytics.

Optional donation link: the popup contains a support button. When the user
explicitly clicks it, it opens either an Amazon page containing an affiliate tag
(German user interface) or a PayPal donation page (all other languages) in a new
tab. The extension itself collects no data in this process. On those websites the
privacy policies of Amazon or PayPal apply.
