Daily Time Limits
Set a daily browsing limit (30 min–8 hours). A friendly "time's up" page appears when it runs out. The toolbar badge shows remaining time.

Temporary Site Access
Grant time-limited access to a blocked site (up to 2 hours) right from the block page no need to permanently whitelist it.

Dashboard
New stats panel in Settings: weekly blocked counts, top blocked & allowed sites, browsing time, failed PIN attempts, and active temp sessions. All data stays local.

Safe Search
Force safe search on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo with one toggle.

Tamper Alerts
Get a browser notification if someone tries to guess your PIN. View the full attempt history in the Dashboard.

Stronger PIN Security
Hashing upgraded to PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations) with a unique per-installation salt. Your PIN upgrades automatically on next login.

8-Digit PIN
Choose between 4 or 8 digits for extra security.

Configurable Lockout
Set failed attempt threshold (3/5/10) and lockout duration (1–60 min).

Wildcard Subdomains
Add *.example.com to allow all subdomains at once.

Better Defaults
New installs start with 8 kid-safe sites (PBS Kids, Khan Academy, Cool Math Games, and more). Activity log now holds 100 entries.

Import Improvements
Importing merges with your existing whitelist instead of replacing it.

Bug Fixes
Fixed "Add This Site" button on block page silently failing. Fixed block page not showing errors on failed adds. Removed blocking of Firefox error pages.

Security Hardening
Session gated sensitive operations, message origin filtering, input sanitization, redirect URL validation, and DOM-based rendering to prevent XSS.
