This works awesom on linux. I have struggle bringing this to work on windows.

I manage to make pass work from normal cmd:

choco install msys2
msys2-bash: pacman -S pass
Created batch in c:\program files\pass\pass.bat and added c:\program files\pass to %PATH%:

setlocal
set PATH=C:\Python36\Scripts\;C:\Python36\;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\WINDOWS\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\gnupg\bin;C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\bin;C:\Users\simeon\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps;C:\tools\msys32\usr\bin;

set PASSWORD_STORE_DIR=C:\Users\simeon\.password-store
C:\tools\msys32\usr\bin\bash.exe C:\tools\msys32\usr\bin\pass %*

And now I can use pass from a windows-cmd prompt normally. I also run install_host_app.bat successfully. But I cannot install this plugin. any help?

It works only with 2 formats, none of them work with password-store's ability to copy a line number of a entry.

Doesn't work. Even with the host app, pass working, double checked the paths and config. "Connection to the host app failed or returned an unexpected result!"

Works really well. Thanks a lot for this great extension. Makes it so much easier to use pass.

Great extension that makes using the 'pass' password manager a bit less nerdy ;)

Takes a bit of effort to set up, but totally worth it.

I switched from MacOS to Windows 11 in 2024 and wanted to keep using PassFF. It didn't work out the box for me, so I wrote a little guide codefodder.github.io/jasonm23/c2c3d96512ddac336ffa878a0d38d712 hope it helps someone else too.

Works perfectly. Only quirk I have is that the popup is as wide as the username input box, which in my case is a tad too small (I have password entries with 3 or 4 directories).
