It opens a new tab for the word you selected, and jump to your target language section:
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/{word}#{lang}

where {word} is the word you want to search, and {lang} is the name of the target language chosen in the extension options.

Currently supports English, French, German, Esperanto, and Latin.
