by Firefox user 18181672, 2 years agoI've noticed recently that when I click the icon, it doesn't turn on. I have to click it twice. Why is that? Is it a bug? A lot of times I thought it's enabled and I hover a word to find out it's not on and have to click it again, it's a hassle really.

posted 2 years agoOh I'm really sorry to hear that. That must be a problem arising from switching to event pages. I'll look into it right away and hopefully fix it soon. Thank you for letting me know!
Update 2023-12-06: I've fixed the bug and submitted a new version (1.17) to the add-ons store. It will appear as soon as Mozilla finishes reviewing it.
Update 2023-12-11: The updated version has been approved and this should now be fixed. Thank you for reporting the issue and sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm afraid I couldn't quite follow your suggestions, however. If you enable romaji display in the settings and look at a work like テスト you should see "tesuto" in the popup and also when you copy the entry.
(Note that the extension will not work on addons.mozilla.org because Firefox blocks extensions from working there.)
Could you please email me at info@birchill.co.jp to let me know what is missing. Thank you! - Rated 5 out of 5by sdia, 6 days ago

Once you look up the word, you can find the kanji decomposition. It's detailed and easy at the same time. Please try.Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Shaitan Venit, a year agoAmazing extension, this is going to help me a lot to learn Japanese. One feature I wish it had is to display furigana over kanji when on hover. That aside, I'm glad I found this extension. Good job!

posted a year agoHi hhoganmc, I'm sorry to hear it's not working for you. Would you be able to contact me at info@birchill.co.jp so we can try to work out what's wrong?
You'll need to activate the add-on after pinning it to the toolbar or pressing Alt+R. I hope that helps!
