Note: BlockDistraction is designed to block distracting URLs and web domains directly in your browser.
Developer comments
  1. Open Firefox and navigate to any webpage (e.g., a search engine).
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Tap the ">" next to Extensions.
  4. Select BlockDistraction and enter your parameters.

📌 Note: If you open the menu from a blank tab or the Firefox homepage, you may only see the Extensions management page instead of direct access to the extension’s functionality.
  1. Enter a part of the resource name in the left input field without specifying the protocol.
  2. Example: Entering "youtube" will block all subdomains of this resource.
  3. Enter the redirect URL in the right input field, fully specified with the protocol.
  4. Example: "https://google.com"
  5. Click the save button to apply the rule.

📌 Note:
- If the redirect URL is left empty, the target site will simply be blocked.
- To modify a rule, delete the old rule and add a new one.
