by Firefox user 17976117, 2 months agoJust too damn complicated. I spend an hour fussing with the settings to get each site I need to log into to let me log in, and it doesn't last. The next time at that site, I can't get in.
Sometimes a site won't let me log in regardless of how many variants I put in the allowlist. Sometimes AdBlocker claims it allows a site, but it's reporting that it has blocked some number of ads from it. Today I finally gave up and just turned it off so I could pay my bills. And now that I've turned it on again, it's not blocking!
I *need* this extension. I am autistic and all the Web pages are too complicated and have too much motion even without ads. This extension, however, has me ready to smash my phone in frustration.

Doesn't allow to not have the "automatically turned on x filter" not pop up.
update: custom settings just doesn't work, next to nothing you change is saved - Rated 2 out of 5by Gabriel C T, 20 days agoIt has become weaker and weaker with Youtube recently, and even manually blocking content does nothing. I haven´t found a way to solve this issue so I guess I will have to move on with another ad blocker.

- Rated 5 out of 5by grace46202, 21 days agoI've used many blockers throughout the years but I always come back to this one. Also installed it for non-tech-savvy friends/family and so far only had to play tech support once (they turned it off on accident). It's a great set-and-forget extension that works well and is super customizable!
