About this extension
This extension lets you obtain AWS credentials in accounts where only SAML login is configured. It works by intercepting the SAMLResponse message sent back from the IdP to AWS and exchanging it for AWS credentials using AWS assumeRoleWithSAML API. The credentials obtained in this way can be used with AWS CLI or any other application.

Once obtained, the credentials are automatically saved into a file called credentials in your downloads folder, overwriting any preexisting file. This provides a stable file name that can be used in the configuration of API clients such as the AWS CLI.

Note: while this extension still seems to work as intended, it is not actively maintained.
