Logging out issue been plaguing the extension for months. Devs fully aware, keep promising a fix and each update another disappointment. Fingerprint passphrases also don't match up, another security issue. Still, tried every other psw mngr and HATE them. Even with the bugs BW has the best User Experience.
I miss Lockwise. It just worked.
**Update**
Logging out issue appears to have been addressed. The non-matching passphrase still a security problem.Developer response

When I sign in then I can't access my vault. So I can't access my saved logins. Please fix this.

Has just stopped working for the 2nd time in the last few months. Disabling/ reenabling doesn't help. Seems like a complete removal/ reinstall is the only thing that works. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13222952, a year agoRather hit or miss at times.
Occasionally just stops working at random. Often difficult or impossible to enter master password. - Rated 3 out of 5by Segun, a year agoBrowser extension has been broken. Biometrics auth doesn't work and it is reporting to me to enable browser integration at the desktop app (it's enabled). No fix - no 5 stars)
- Rated 3 out of 5by silvatek, a year agoIt's okay but difficult to find settings. And it seems to have changed so that now the icons at the bottom are truncated by my taskbar.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Stuurman3, a year agoThis new version is much worse than the previous ones. 2024.3.1 is totally different, and it takes more steps and time to get the password, or to make a new entry.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Christoffer Kragh Pedersen, 2 years agoEDIT: I suddenly got it to work by checking the "Require verification for browser integration" setting, setting up Biometrics in the Firefox extension, and then after logging in, unchecking the setting again. Now it works every time. Weird why this was necessary.
The biometrics integration stopped working recently, which very much sucks. - Rated 3 out of 5by ssssaaaa, 2 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by nondescript-person, 2 years agoThe pc firefox addon and the android standalone app work good, however the android firefox addon does not work at all for me... I tried with my addons disabled and everything. I gave up and just use the app instead... really wish the android addon worked.

- Rated 3 out of 5by moleboy, 2 years agoI think this plugin needs an update. I'm a web developer and use my console window a lot when developing. This extension is generating multiple errors of "Bad source or badly formatted message, skipping." from bootstrap-content-message-handler.js:171:25. I have to disable the extension to do my work which is obviously not great.

- Rated 3 out of 5by ufo_driver, 2 years agoTries to inject its scripts on every opened page, including non-HTML contents. Breaks XML preview in browser. Domain exception list is not working.
- Rated 3 out of 5by strigoi, 2 years agoDesktop apps is really useful, i use it everyday while the android version isn't handy because autocompletion isn't working, copy pasting is not a solution. I'm on a Pixel6 and before on Huawei and bitwarden worked in a more integrated way.
