About this extension
CR-Unblocker allows you to access the full US Crunchyroll anime library from anywhere in the world by routing only geo-restricted Crunchyroll traffic through a US proxy server. All other site content, such as static and CDN resources, loads directly for optimal speed and performance.

  • No more session ID manipulation—enjoy seamless access without extra steps
  • Works from any region, including Japan
  • If you experience refresh loops, Crunchyroll may have changed their restrictions. Disable the proxy and check for updates.

CR-Unblocker 4.0.0 – Major Update
  • Changed the default proxy server from the discontinued cr-unblocker.us.to to a new server: us.community-proxy.meganeko.dev (provided and maintained by the current developer).
  • Now uses a smart proxy system: only geo-restricted Crunchyroll traffic is proxied, while all other traffic (including static/CDN content) goes direct for better performance.
  • No more session ID manipulation—unlock geo-blocked anime directly!
  • Improved compatibility: Watch Crunchyroll from anywhere, even Japan.
  • If you encounter refresh loops, Crunchyroll may have updated their restrictions. Disable the proxy and watch for future updates.
