Now its a complete trash. It will freeze your computer, that's guaranteed.
Not only that, the extension wasn't abandoned by the devs. It still gets frequent updates.
Which leads me to think the resource heavy bug not being addressed is not a oversight, it's by design.
I just can't trust this extension anymore, I have no Idea why they're using so much of my computer. - Rated 3 out of 5by Cav, a year agoWhat happened? This app is essential to me because I have severe light and contrast sensitivity. I noticed some months ago that it wasn't working as it used to, but since the last update it's a huge drain on resources and literally breaks a large percent of the sites I visit now. I just restarted my computer because of a "ghost window" that was blank that I couldn't close. I was having network issues anyway, so I restarted. It was still there. Fixed it by disabling the extension. What's wrong, Dark Reader devs?
