- Rated 4 out of 5by Sonic Purity, a month agoReally torn between 4 and 5 stars. In a sense, Easy YouTube Video Downloader should get 5 stars for being able to work _at all_ — especially with the Firefox version 115.x.y esr i have to run on my old macOS.
Giving it 4 because it’s very glitchy on my setup: FF seemed to lock up for several minutes. Needed to relaunch FF several times + try a download several times with different settings before eventually getting one which worked. Links generated in menu bar produced useless 0.1 MB files (?!), though the button on the main page did eventually work.
Again, deep, deep gratitute to Dishita for maintaining this software—truly a David vs. Goliath situation. I wish that it worked as seamlessly as it used to a year or more ago, but again, i feel fortunate that it works at all. Some configurations like mine may experience problems. Keep trying, hopefully it will eventually work for you too! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19532716, a month ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Fritz, a month agoIt gets slightly broken if you're going through a playlist on the site. Starts showing phantom buttons duplicating horizontally from left to right as you go through the playlist. One must simply refresh the page to remedy this issue, but still something to work on.

- Rated 4 out of 5by RosFromSA, a month agoI have had issues with the interface until recently, but right now, the current changes are really well-executed and it seems flawless. Waiting to see whether it stays this way...

, love it. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13411296, a month agoIn chain watch addon is creating another "download" unclickable button so after 10 videos watched in chain you got 10 green buttons. They dissapear after page refresh.
- Rated 4 out of 5by ussstropicana, a month agoGood and fast downloading...
but some smaller issues are to be corrected:
1) completely freeze all the opened tabs on my navigator, Firefox updated, (not the computer) while converting the video.
2) creates a ghost image of the "Download as" button each time I change the YouTube page. - Rated 4 out of 5by A random pube, a month agoNot HD, but it works. First download had the wrong language, next one was fine and quick. Think the language problem is the new YouTube auto translate they started doing for everything. So if it was uploaded from Germany, downloading in the US will probably be dubbed German.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18502254, 2 months agoSo far worked okay on one video, but I have two computers and it only works on one of them. In fact, installing on one computer made it work on the other. I think that's a bit of an issue, as I use the other for work.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19482449, 2 months agoMy linux PC is pretty old, and it took a while, but this extension was able to convert and save a 35 minute instructional YouTube video to a small mp4 format. It worked well, but I had to scroll down to below the video to see the progress this extension was making in conversion and saving.
There is one bug - if I click on another YouTube video in the same window, and try to convert and save that video, it doesn't -- instead it downloads, converts and saves the original video I viewed in that window, making another copy of it.
It seems like I have to close FireFox before trying to download another video. - Rated 4 out of 5by ZayKilla, 2 months agoDefinitely the best YouTube video downloading extension. I think 4k (or at least 1440p) should be available for donators.
