Hide Fixed Elements by Andrew F

Adds a button which can be clicked to make "fixed" elements (that is, headers/footers/sidebars that stay stuck to one part of the window) disappear, opening up more space to view the page content.

About this extension
"Fixed elements" (or "sticky" elements) are parts of a web page which stay "fixed" in one place in the window. They're often used to create bars at the top or bottom of the window, making less of the page content visible.

This extension adds a button in your browser toolbar you can click to temporarily hide all fixed elements on the page, freeing up more room in the window for you to read the content of the page. (The button is a toggle -- click it again to make those elements show up.)

Release notes for 1.4
Hide Fixed Elements has been updated for Manifest v3. This does not limit the functionality of the extension; it's just a bit of future-proofing.

Elements hidden by this extension now have the "display: none" CSS attribute applied to them. This fixes an issue where some hidden elements would prevent elements "behind" them from being clicked normally, as well as scrolling abnormalities on sites with large headers/footers.

Various minor code improvements.
