1. When creating new tab while tabs are split, it adds new to the split containers, visually in sidebar, but the new tab is separate.
2. Unlike Zen's default new tab, it creates a new tab right away rather than after confirming. Which is a bit annoying. - Rated 5 out of 5by Matthias, 2 years ago

I suggest to the author to mention that you can change the hotkey in the Extensions settings (Settings -> Extensions & Themes -> gear icon above the list of extensions -> Manage Extension Shortcuts).
Then to other users I suggest using AutoHotkey (on Linux there is Keysharp or AHK_X11) and reassigning the extension hotkey to Ctrl+T in Firefox. That way you don't need to retrain your muscle memory.
Note: you should probably change the hotkey from Alt+C since that hotkey is used for the Match Case option in the search dialog and will consequently interfere with trying to open a new tab when the search is also open. - Rated 5 out of 5by Дмитрий, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by delt, 5 years agoDoes one thing, and does it well. Question: is it possible to replace the normal shortcut ctrl+T to use this one instead of alt+C?

Saves thousand of clicks and headaches.
Mac complainers about shortcuts- get a real computer, or CHANGE the shortcut in FF "manage extension shortcuts" (Gear icon, top right of addons page) and give this addon the 5 stars it deserves! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15250026, 6 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Leetcat, 7 years agoAmazing app works great on mac. Use Option+C for it to work. I would recommend adding an addition to allow customization of the key stroke.

- Rated 3 out of 5by shark_bloody, 8 years agoAny way to make this the default behavior? I mean, that the extension recognises the last used container, and open any new tab on that container.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Petre Tudor, 8 years agopretty sweet. I would have wanted this to be default behavior for any new tab, but this extension does the job
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12860633, 8 years agoExcelente extennsión, si la combinan con BTT no van a tener ningún problema es decir, si es Alt+C con BTT pueden programar un atajo para que CMD+T sea una nueva pestaña por defecto dependiendo del contenedor en el que estas.Great Add-on
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13514027, 8 years agoThis is exactly what I needed, but since I'm on Mac... it would be great to be able to change the shortcut, since Alt+C is not natural for us! (at least for me :-P)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13395258, 8 years agoOn Mac, Alt+c works but only if focus is not on a text-entry area. Otherwise the normal Alt+c action types the letter 'ç'. Please change the key combination used on a Mac, or let the user alter it.
