Highlight Links adds a one-click toggle that visually highlights all links on the current page to make scanning and locating links faster and easier for users. It is lightweight, privacy-friendly, and only runs when you click the toolbar button. The extension stores only your display preferences (color, outline thickness, and background alpha) using the browser storage API and does not transmit data off your device. The UI provided is minimal: a popup with a toggle button and an options page for customizing the highlight appearance. The add-on uses no remote code, no inline scripts, and requests only the minimal permissions needed to operate, making it suitable for review and listing on AMO.
