- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14316535, 7 years agoYou'll need a paid account to sign in and use the extension. Switching windows to my password manager annoyingly closes it. You'll need to copy the password before opening it. Only able to choose servers at a country level which is VERY LIMITED especially for geographically big countries or ones with internal price discrimination. Loading the extension while connected is unnecessarily slower than my other extension (thought display information of connection would be saved LOCALLY). Its simple to use.... too simple.
- Rated 3 out of 5by shymwo, 7 years agoVery big issue of this addon is that it often doesn't automatically connect to NordVPN proxy after browser restart but icon indicates it is connected. The workaround is to enable kill-switch in firefox by setting proxy to localhost in firefox settings and then - to disable/enable addon in addons window every time the browser can't connect to the internet after restart. That way we don't accidentally use the browser without NordVPN proxy. Except for this inconvenience it is quite a good addon and the proxy servers are very fast. I'm enjoying using it. And I hope the issues (the one I described and some other minor described by others) will be fixed soon.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14303613, 7 years agoThe add on on Firefox is very slow to start and connect, and you have to start a new connection every time you open the window. By comparison, the Chrome extension is much faster and connects automatically upon opening the window. Therefore, I will be using the Chrome browser until the issues are resolved.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14274564, 7 years agoIt's pretty bad... The extension indicates being connected when it's not. (Always verify with a site that displays your IP) To even get it to work after opening a window requires manually disconnecting and reconnecting to get it to connect. On top of that, it's super buggy and poorly written - taking seconds to just load the ui after the icon is clicked. I'd expect this type of thing from a free extension, but not from a paid service. I had high hopes, but don't waste your time with this extension. My advice: Find a VPN provider that actually takes some pride in the code they release.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ryan, 7 years agoI like the service for android and IOS but the Linux experience has been poor, particularly this add-on which closes itself whenever you try to select the password box, making it impossible to log in. Very unimpressed.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14239125, 7 years agoAlmost unusable on Firefox while on other browsers it works okay. There are 3 MAJOR issues on Firefox:
1. When you click on extension icon it takes around 3 seconds for UI to show up. This is extremely annoying even more because of other bugs that are forcing you to interact with extension more then you need to (will explain it now).
2. When you finally connect to server and after you restart Firefox NordVPN icon will be green which indicates that proxy connection is established. However that is not true, you are not REALLY connected although extension is suggesting that. You have to click on icon (and wait 3 seconds), disconnect (3-5 seconds) and finally reconnect (3-5 seconds). So if you want to use this extension on Firefox, you have to do this every time you start Firefox.
3. Extension won't even open UI in private mode.
This is a paid service and this extension is almost unusable, forcing me to leave 1 star review. I wouldn't recommend it even if it was free, at least not on Firefox. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14238135, 7 years ago
