- Rated 2 out of 5by cbspencer, 5 years agoGenerally NPM is very good, but it had one annoying problem that has caused me to stop using it and go back to LastPass. NPM has an all-or-nothing attitude; prompt to save all logins, or do not prompt at all. There are some logins which I *never* want to save, yet NPM keeps prompting me to save them. It would be nice if NPM let me specific not to save logins for certain websites. Until then, the constant prompts are too annoying for me to use NPM.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Roger V., 5 years agoIt would be great... if only I could set up a password vault. Something's broken, and it keeps saying "something went wrong, please try again later". That's not very helpful, Symantec. Yet to report problem to Symantec.

- Rated 2 out of 5by solverforall, 7 years agoFor Some reason unknow to me atleast, this extention makes Firefox really slow and laggy.
Please Symantec Developers, fix this problem ASAP - Rated 2 out of 5by Adam Shepherd, 7 years agoThis plugin renders sites slow wherever there is hundreds of input fields. Like https://www.interfood.hu/etlap-es-rendeles/ or Jenkins' build project setup page with a lot of build steps.
It would be nice to have a page/site exclusion setting. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13813844, 7 years agoTo buggy with having to try to get out of endless loop to correct the problem's.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13739045, 7 years agoLast version working relatively well was 5.1.1.2. Version 5.2.0.19 broke many sites including twitter and some forums I use. 5.2.1.2 still has this broken although not as bad as 5.2.0.19 (slows down rather then makes entry impossible). Up until recently you could backlevel to 5.1.1.2. Not sure if its no longer available because of some standard Firefox policy or because of Norton's pulling it.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13751719, 7 years agoNorton Identity Safe makes Firefox exceptionally slow. I received warnings from Firefox that Identity Safe was slowing it down.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13626451, 7 years agoNorton Identity Safe funciona muy bien en IE y en Chrome pero en Firefos no va tan fino quizas por no disponer de una barra de herramientas.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Tuxedo Will, 8 years agoSince Version 2, you can not paste in your Norton password to unlock the vault. Loss of this ability is very annoying. It really slows things down considering that the unlock password is needed at every start of Firefox (unlike IE). Please enable the unlock password field to accept Paste and/or CTRL-V! Meanwhile, I'm stuck using Version 2.3.0.24. :(
- Rated 2 out of 5by garyw, 8 years agoit is intrusive, and requires going through logging in process several times per day. If you can maintain a secure vault for users you could keep users logged or make it an automatic process-- that is the purpose of the encryption isn't it?
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12325769, 8 years agoHmmm. My vault disappeared after a few days use. I don't remember doing anything, overtly, to delete it. That's a problem. Also, there does not seem to be a visible indicator in Firefox to inform me that I've logged into my vault, or not. That's a problem, because logins performed, when the vault is not open, are not saved. The plugin and product have potential, but there is lots of room for improvement.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13427561, 8 years agoSometimes it works sometimes it does not. It has problems with Firefox which, after seeking help from Norton, remain unsolved. Perhaps this facility should be withdrawn until these problems are resolved.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13426505, 8 years agoRather unreliable. Sometimes it works other times it does not.
- Rated 2 out of 5by rkbest, 8 years agoMany have reported and I want to point similar problem with Win 7 Pro machine have same issue. Can use any Norton password with Firefox.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Strnj1, 8 years agoif the passwords will still be there when it starts working again.
I want, desperately to find another password manager that I can trust... - Rated 2 out of 5by Iconoclast, 9 years agoClick on the icon for the identity safe in the upper right corner, then click logout of your Norton account. Then go back to the icon and click it again, and click login to Norton account. Once you log in to your Norton account it will prompt you to log into your vault and it will work. You have to be logged into your Norton account and the vault and I think once it expires, it is too stupid to inform you and it stays logged in and prevents access to the vault.
This is obviously a huge problem and a major oversight on Norton's part. Big surprise there, they don't seem to care about Firefox users. After waiting a year for the identity safe to return, this is a major disappointment. Good thing I still use LastPass. Norton has completely lost my trust. - Rated 2 out of 5by Ann620, 9 years agoThis worked great the first few weeks when using Firefox, however now when I go to logon, the logon screen is blank. Very disappointing! It works fine on Google.

Doch nur, wenn NoScript deaktiviert ist :-(
