one sec | Website Blocker, Focus, Screen Time by riedel.wtf GmbH

by Mark, 2 years agoA recent update:
Required more permissions without elaborating.
Switched to a shame based system which makes me feel bad about intentionally spending time using the web.
The extension is no longer useful and causes picture-in-picture + background video to stop. This is not what I want and is not configurable. Uninstalling is the only option.

posted 2 years agoThanks a lot for your feedback, Mark! That’s definitely not intended. one sec should not shame you. Could you elaborate a bit which new features / designs make you feel that way?
We’ll take a look at the video issues you’ve reported as well!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13880066, 3 months agoAmazing add-on (just like the mobile app).
If possible, I would like to suggest a new feature I believe would be useful (to most people). It's the schedule. for me, it's useful to have this addon (as well as mobile app), enabled during working hours, as well as before sleep. But between that, I often find myself having to disable it temporarily. - Rated 5 out of 5by Avocadbro, 3 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by what do you want, 4 months agoi like the idea and it works decently, but it's a bit janky. sometimes it makes you wait twice, or it randomly pops up even if you didn't leave the tab. it's also annoying that it shows up even if you leave just for one second. last, the breathing screen needs overflow:hidden in the css so it stops showing scrollbars that it shouldn't.

posted 3 months agoHey, thanks a lot for your feedback! You could definitely try enabling the "Intentional Website Switching" feature. This prevents the intervention from showing up again when briefly leaving a tab for a different site. Hope that helps! - Rated 5 out of 5by dunxen, 5 months agoWorks so smoothly, doesn't interfere with website performance after intervention.
This is exactly what I've needed for my calm and focus.
