About this extension
PencilKit is a fast Firefox extension for web sketching and annotation. Turn any web page into a canvas so you can draw, highlight, blur, and take notes directly on sites like LinkedIn, Figma, Notion, and Google Docs. It feels native in the browser with a clean UI, no lag, and smooth lines even on long, complex pages.

Use PencilKit to review designs, give visual feedback, sketch UI flows, or explain ideas right on top of the page. It is scroll‑aware, so you can draw while scrolling without losing your place. A compact toolbar with a color arc ring keeps tools easy to discover, and rendering performance is tuned for stability and speed.

Switch tools instantly with simple keyboard shortcuts: P for Pen to draw and sketch, H for Highlighter to emphasize text and elements, B for Blur to hide sensitive information, and E for Eraser for quick clean‑up. A Snapshot Area tool lets you capture exactly the part of the page you need for documentation, bug reports, or demos. Preferences are saved, with manual Light and Dark theme selection and a smarter Escape‑to‑quit flow with Standby Mode so the extension stays out of your way when you are done.

PencilKit is pay‑what‑you‑want. You can get your key for any amount you choose — including free ($0). There are no minimums, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. You can try PencilKit free for 5 days; after that, you will see a gentle reminder to support the creator, but you can always continue using it for free or contribute any amount you like.

PencilKit is built to be safe and private. It is a browser drawing and annotation extension that runs locally: no accounts, no sign‑ups, and no tracking of your browsing. Your drawings stay on your computer, and activation keys are handled securely via Polar.sh, an open‑source platform. Whether you decide to support the project or use it for free, you get the full professional experience.
