Reviews for Awesome Screenshot & Screen Recorder
Awesome Screenshot & Screen Recorder by Diigo Inc.

by R.I.P. IE, 9 years agoUsed to love this one but has some issues now:
- doesn't always work.
Sometimes nothing happens (whether with selections or full pages) or it saves an empty - white - screen.
- saving is unclear and when you figure out (it's 3 tiny buttons in a sea of clutter), it has only an option to save to your default FF folder (which I and I think most long time users don't actually use, since you actually want to know and choose where you save something) and either nothing happens or it doesn't show up in the downloads and you have no idea where it went.
Or you can save to clipboard..which didn't work (a bug that you have to find out by clicking on another link).
There's also an unnecessary extra options/edit screen by default, with no option to directly save a screenshot (you first have to click out of the screen by clicking on 'done', before you get another screen with the option to save).
Everything now is so slow, unnecessarily cumbersome and cluttered.
Please improve, it's gotten so much worse over time :(

- Rated 5 out of 5by momakin, 2 months agoWorks when others won't capture entire page, and works when others are entirely blocked by some sites. Outstanding. Thank you SO much :D
- Rated 5 out of 5by ANeuroticDoctor, 2 months agoIt works with Kajabi forum threads so I'm happy :) You can see it scrolling the page as it saves, and you can annotate afterwards before saving to PC

I just wish it had the option to name the image before you export it. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13777384, 7 months agoIt doesn't work properly on Firefox, so I canceled my subscription.
