- Rated 5 out of 5by tyleralbee, 2 months agoWorks great, it is a mystery why Google doesn't implement this themselves, but this add-on is very nice to have.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Big Keith, 2 months agoThis is a really helpful app. Until it stops working every few weeks. I have a block list of 200 sites and when it works, they do not show up.
I mostly use DuckDuckGo as my search engine in Firefox. I used to use StartPage mainly, these days just occasionally. I get the same problems whatever search engine I use.
Very often, the option to block the site is not appearing under the search results on my phone. But it still blocks those I have added in the past.
When uBlacklist stops working, when you open a second tab it will only block websites in the first tab. Pretty unhelpful...
Even worse, like now, it is not blocking anything and the option to block the site is not there. I have removed, restarted Firefox and re-added, no difference. Remove, reboot, readd, no difference.
It is a mystery how the basic functionality of the app can be so flakey. Whatever is going on with the coding, either in Firefox updates or uBlacklist updates, it breaks and functions are lost.
But when it works, I love it. Just wish it worked more often... - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13404543, 2 months agoWhen it works, it's great. The problem is that it doesn't always work.

- Rated 5 out of 5by ZevSua, 3 months agoМощная штука.. я нереально удовлетворен. Остальные тупые валенки не понимают как им пользоваться поэтому пишут отзывы на 1. Но это их проблемы.
Это просто бомба приложение! Не без недочетов, но все-же - Rated 5 out of 5by wookiy, 3 months ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by sweatpants eater, 4 months agoI loved using this to block AI images 'cause they're ugly and are just a slap in the face in every way as an artist. But as of recently (like a couple of weeks) it just doesn't work anymore? I no longer see the number of sites blocked, and the websites I've blocked show up in my results again. This really stinks, 'cause I depend on this extension a lot!!!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14375826, 5 months agoEDITED FOR CLARITY
I would love to give uBlacklist 5 stars but unfortunately the thing can't seem to decide when it will and will not work on startpage, my main search engine. When we open up a new tabfor the first time, it works as intended. If I search from within that particular tab (that is, if I have searched "chicken recipe" then decide to edit that search to "chicken soup recipe") it no longer works. Even if I go to the browser bar rather than the search engine bar.
This renders the thing pretty much useless to me. I do not find this particularly surprising, because 99% of everything involving the internet is garbage, but I do find it frustrating. So very, very Frustrating.
FURTHER EDIT: it appears that ublacklist, in addition to the above problem, only works for the specific url that they keep on their end. this means that using the startpage settings url (the one you can use instead of using a cookie to save user settings) does not register on ublacklist's end. As we all know, any measure the user takes to protect their online privacy must be met with resistance to dissuade them from continuing to deviate from the norm. - Rated 5 out of 5by Moil, 5 months agoHella useful blocking ai art websites when trying to find references as an artist. Intuitive and just works as it should
- Rated 1 out of 5by Natustell, 5 months agoThis behaves as if "Add rules blocking whole sites by default" is always on regardless of value. It's not possible to block specific pages, only entire sites.
