by Steror, 10 months agoSwitched to Firefox when Youtube raised its prices. On mobile I had to keep turning on desktop mode to keep background play. With this extension, background play works perfectly in mobile view, which is more convenient and has less bugs than desktop mode

Important to know that if you're watching a playlist YouTube will still pause your videos between each video, even going as far as to incorrectly force your browser to give you a "no internet connection" error and force a page reload. Nothing wrong with the add-on though, purely an issue caused by Alphabet Incorporated overstepping their bounds.
