by zerothbase, 5 months agoGreat add on! has a few minor bugs but 95% of the time it works great. Sometimes have to refresh page a couple times, play media etc to get it to recognize media. Also seems to have more metadata than it uses for filenameing.

- Rated 1 out of 5by gjl, an hour agoLeaves a HUGE QR code on downloaded vids until user pays $30.50. Not only that, I'm not crazy about their required permissions - "Access browser activity during navigation" and "Access your data for all websites." Sounds like tracking to me for which I'd be paying $30.50 to allow.

- Rated 5 out of 5by BDUB, 18 hours agoReally like this extension. It would be nice to be able to change the quality/upgrade of the video. Like from 720 to 1080 or 4K.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19455502, 18 hours agobest downloader software I ever used, by a long stretch. It was able to pull videos in 99% of cases, where others would have not even come close.. Gives you many options regarding file quality and format. It especially shines in situations when it is not clear as to how and if at all it would be possible to access the video. Last but not least, speed of operations, you can download multiple items at the same time, and it still takes but a short moment. Amazing Plug in.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19532835, a day agolast update adds a huge QR to the downloaded video, making the download useless unless you pay €20.50.
doing this deserves an uninstall, if developers were smart enough they would find alternative methods, but instead they are going to get review bombed and lose all the users. for the people that couldn't find a decent video downloader, maybe check out JDownloader2. 👍 - Rated 1 out of 5by Matthew, 2 days agoLeaves a giant QR code demanding $$$. Corporations have sucked my wallet dry with their greed in the last 5 years, frankly I just can't be bothered anymore. Record with OBS, use 4Kvideodownloader, I don't care but I'm not paying for this!
- Rated 4 out of 5by 352wwg, 2 days agoWhen I download SOOP VODs, the audio comes out distorted like a walkie-talkie.
It's also inconvenient to select the save location every time. Where can I change the default download directory?
I can't find the option in the settings, and it would be helpful if it were easier to locate. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19221936, 2 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18686871, 2 days agoI cannot vouch for this. It puts a gigantic watermark on your downloaded video unless you pay for a "lifetime" license, with no assurance that the extension will continue to work as different services change their API.
