This major release introduces Per-Site Persistence, a highly requested Whitelist Mode, completely overhauled the Options page and GUI. GUI is now more consistent across chromium and firefox with more convenient options.

✨ New Features
🧠 Per-Site Memory ("Remember")
No more resetting the volume every time you refresh!

Remember Toggle: Added a switch in the popup to remember Volume and Mono settings for the current domain.

Auto-Restore: revisiting a site automatically applies your last used settings.

🛡️ Whitelist Mode
Flip the script on how the extension behaves.

Blocklist (Default): Runs everywhere except specific sites.

Whitelist (New): Runs only on specific sites.

Context-Aware Toggle: The "Active" switch in the popup automatically adapts to add/remove the current site from your active list (Whitelist or Blocklist).

⚙️ Advanced Options Manager
The options page has been rebuilt from the ground up:

Live Editing: You can now see every site you've "Remembered" and edit their Volume/Mono settings directly from the list without visiting the site.

Debug Mode: Added a "Show Debug Highlight" toggle. When enabled, video elements will flash a Green border when successfully controlled (or Red if failed).

🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements
System Page Safety: The extension no longer attempts (and fails) to run on restricted browser pages (e.g., chrome://, about:blank, extension://).

Async Messaging Fix: Resolved the "A listener indicated an asynchronous response..." error by ensuring all message channels are properly closed.

Audio Engine Stability:

Added onstatechange listeners to handle AudioContext suspension/resumption (fixing issues with Autoplay policies).

Implemented MutationObserver to reliably catch media elements on Single Page Applications (SPAs) like YouTube.

🎨 UI Polish:

The UI now looks consistent across Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

Added and unified the look of all toggle switches.

Redesigned the "Settings" button to be less shy.

Improved spacing and layout in the popup.

📦 Technical
Manifest V3: fully compliant with Manifest V3 host_permissions and storage practices.

Refactor: Complete rewrite of cs.js (Content Script) for modularity and error handling.

Deprecate old edge styling
Make the range thumb a neutral grey [same color as the switch] and remove styling, that wasn't noticeable on a dark theme.

Updated to manifest v3 and changes to permissions. Adding support to significantly more sites but deprecating support for older Firefox revisions. If you have an older version of FF I recommend updating firefox, however if you can't the manifest v2 version is still available here https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/4113496/volume_control_boost_volume-2.3.xpi
Important: To add functionality to more websites, the permission "all_urls" was necessary, however with the recent update to manifest v3, it's optional. If the extension can't access audio on a certain site do the following: Right click the extension, click "manage extension", click the permission tab, allow "Access your data for all websites". This is a necessary permission to access iframes. The extension is open source and fully adheres to this repository. There's no form of analytics in this extension. So don't be afraid of the permissions.

Fix a bug where clicking away from the popup the GUI was reset.

Limit text input to numbers.
-2.1 focus the slider so you can use arrow keys to change the volume
-2 allow input via the text field rather than only controlling volume with the slider.
