Publishers can now download images directly from the article page, and sign language content now opens in the updated Library app. Visual updates have been applied to align with the current website design. Media Player Control Keys and Advanced Search features are now enabled by default for wider usage. Version 8
Introduces a wide range of new features and improvements, including new advanced features such as media player control keys which allows you to control the player using a keyboard, and advanced search which expands the functionality of the search bar. Other new features includes the new online citation to show citation of all articles, read in the app allows you to open the article or publication straight to the app, play media in the app also allows you to watch or listen the media straight to the app, and a new audio button in the video library to easily access the audio library in 1 click. Existing features such as expand width is now available on jw.org, video transcript now allows you to download the transcript in PDF in select languages, or copy the entire transcript. Several bug fixes has been done throughout the addon including the issue on Bible chapters missing in the dialog box and random html code not removed from the transcript. Improvements has been made to the daily text button, language counter, and labels to make them more network efficient.
