- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13921572, 7 years agoIt helps me to stay productive during the day.
I once tried to block during the whole day. Now have come to model of allowing up to 15 Minutes per hour and it works wonders.
My list of sites to block is evergrowing.
Great Add-On - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13911244, 7 years agoThis saves me so much time at work, it's incredible. Since I everyday seem to forget that I shouldn't be surfing for unimportant stuff, LeechBlock is there to remind me.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13903311, 7 years agoI'm in the process of switching from Chrome to Firefox for ethical/privacy reasons. On Chrome I really rely on an extension called Strict Workflow that combines a Pomodoro timer with website blocking, but I couldn't find a similar add-on for Firefox. Instead, I combined Leechblock's lockdown feature with a pomodoro add-on called Tomato Clock. When Tomato tells me I have a break, I just enter my password to override the lockdown for 5 minutes and get back to work. So far it's working great. Thanks guys

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13877153, 7 years agoLeechblock saved my exams! I love the scheduling possibilty, so I dont need to think too much about activating leechblock. I would love a little plugin where you could just say "keep me from distraction for 35 minutes". Nevertheless its a great add-on

posted 7 years agoActually, you can do that already with the lockdown feature. Click on the LB toolbar button and select lockdown. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13872838, 7 years agoIt's the best website blocker I've come across. It's fairly easy to learn how it works; comes with useful features for specific types of blocking, and very helpful with taking back my time from wasteful sites.
Thanks man. You've helped me improve my productivity and given me back my time. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13871900, 7 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Dec B., 7 years agoIt works perfectly, and even can make it so that you can't uninstall it or change the settings while the block is active. It's really helped me focus on my work better.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13856544, 7 years agoI was looking into multiple firefox profiles for separate bookmarks (work vs personal/entertainment), but LeechBlock is much more simple and effective. The FAQ/examples are very helpful in setting custom time periods for the lockdowns as well.
