I've been using this addon for years. It's a great addon, but the new UI update was unexpected, jarring, and for a moment made me think I had been hijacked by something. While I appreciate the attempt at a dark theme (more things need dark themes), I feel it could use some work still. The new UI feels unprofessional, enough so that I had to come here to see the reviews to see if it was legit. I am giving 5 stars as I've been an avid user, and until this UI change, it's been consistently one of my favorite and most used addons.Developer response
posted 3 years agoPlease upgrade to 11.4.1 where you can optionally revert to the "Vintage Blue" theme. - Rated 5 out of 5by malau, 3 years agoOMG, did Giorgio just change the theme of the addon ? I thought I had got a virus ! Is there any way to switch it to the original skin ? I really don't like the new one.

Since the new update, it's now possible to choose between the Vintage Blue and the new theme, so many thanks for making that an option!Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16947347, 3 years agoNew UI is not good. Color contrast for both modes is not appealing. Everything bleeds together in dark mode. Light mode is slightly better. I'm ok with the increase in size.

I do not remember how many years I use it in all my browsers (home & work), must be more than a decade. Today I clicked on the icon and I got scared! I thought my ff was scr#w@d. I was staring at it for several seconds trying to find the "trusted" button!
Dear Giorgio, please either revert it to the previous simple & nice interface, or give us the option to do it.Developer response

I would appreciate at least an option to go back to the old scheme if nothing else--otherwise it's quite miserable to use.
Edit: To their credit, the dev has been super fast to offer up an option as requested, so I'm amending my review to reflect. Thanks!Developer response

However, the redesign doesn't fit my needs/taste. It should be possible to reduce the size of the popup, it's too big now.
Edit: Style can be changed now. Thanks to the developers for the quick update!Developer response

After update, I lost all my config. Before, it was possible to allow globally, an then restrict some websites. I don't find how to do this anymore (Authorize globally doesn't restrict specific websites anymore)Developer response
posted 3 years agoOnly NoScript Classic (v. 5.x and below, pre-2017) used to work this way. You can achieve the same result in modern NoScript versions by configuring the DEFAULT preset in a permissive way. Post on https://NoScript.net/forum if you need more help. - Rated 5 out of 5by IGOR_GOT, 3 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14972400, 3 years agoI have gladly paid the developer for my use of this very handy and (IMO) essential tool. I think anybody with a conscience who decides to keep using it after they spend a week or two then decide to keep using it to pitch in a little bit, even if you an only afford five bucks. It's a gesture of respect, if nothing else.
A mouse click is enough to disable temporarily if it interferes with some website you enjoy. - Rated 5 out of 5by Coko, 3 years agoClearly one of my favorite extensions. I have had it for years and I really love it.
