The Read Aloud Firefox extension is a fantastic tool for converting text into speech, making it perfect for multitasking, accessibility, or simply giving your eyes a break. It integrates smoothly with Firefox, allowing you to listen to articles, blog posts, or even PDFs with just a click.
Pros:
✅ Clear, natural-sounding voices: Offers a range of high-quality voices, including free and premium options.
✅ Flexible customization: Adjust the speed, pitch, and volume to suit your preference.
✅ Supports multiple languages: Great for multilingual users or language learners.
✅ PDF and eBook support: Reads directly from documents, making it versatile.
✅ Easy controls: Simple play, pause, and skip buttons for seamless listening.
Cons:
❌ Limited free voices: Some of the best, most natural voices require a premium subscription.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19169632, 20 days agoMerhaba, daha önce kullanmıştım.

- Rated 3 out of 5by avtolik, a month agoI don't like the opening and pinning a tab and switching the focus on it. It breaks my flow.

- Rated 3 out of 5by AyO, a month agoReally strange PDF processing - you can't load a PDF and expect the add-on to read it. What you do is load a PDF, any PDF, then press the add-on icon. It says something about having to load the pdf, and presents a box to select file, after the file is selected, the PDF is opened in a DIFFERENT tab. So go back and close the original. Why, oh why ? why a second tab opened (since the big update), and why not work from a new empty tab from the start?
- Rated 1 out of 5by jay, a month agoterrible, it mispronounces words, skips entire sentences and even make weird or inappropriate sounds halfway through reading. if 0 stars was an option, i'd choose it.
