I hope the person that sees your review, downloads it and say: "I trust you, bro!" - Rated 5 out of 5by Nohrarit (Pride) Saengsukhiran, a year agoNow, I can rescale some website videos to refit my 16x10 screen. Thank.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Potts, a year agoOne of those extensions that you forget you even have installed, because it really should just be how things work. Then you go to another browser and enter Letterbox Hell™️ before remembering how dang useful it is.

I am downloading Opera GX right now to see what's the sourcery behind their RGX mode.
If possible with Web technologies, I will implement it into the extension for sure.

EDIT:
Apparently they do something within their browser implementation - internally.
However, I've been able to whip something up quickly and achieve better results:

This app helps fix full-screen problems like Star Trek not wanting to work with 21:9 screen ratios even though the shows are basically filmed that way now... or streaming sports apps that auto-zoom and cut off players heads. Occasionally requires some math to re-squish things via the X:Y ratios.
Could maybe use a way to stay "on top" for fullscreen adjustments but I usually just open another window behind it to access menu.Developer response

Glad it helps in those situations that you were having issues with.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a solution for the extension popup interface to stay on the top. It seems to be default behaviour on Chrome for example, but Firefox doesn't do it.
I'll do further research on this topic and if possible, I will definitely work on it.

I tested on Disney+ just now and it is working fine. Depending on the show's video size and your screen size, modes may or may not do anything, but you can always upscale manually with X and Y options.- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14721489, 2 years ago

The extension's speed, adaptability to different platforms, and the ability to eliminate black bars have made it an essential tool for optimizing my content consumption. The minimal interface and customizable shortcuts make it user-friendly, ensuring a seamless and personalized viewing journey. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14302851, 2 years agoZuerst dachte ich die Erweiterung tut was sie sollte: Youtube Bild auf Vollscreen erweitern.

posted 2 years agoThe extension does not do anything with your mouse, nor does it make any actions delayed, because it simply doesn't activate itself until the video on a webpage is in fullscreen mode. Once you go out of fullscreen, it destructs itself.
Kindly try new version and let me know. It could be that in the past v2 keyboard shortcuts feature may have introduced some lag, but in v3 and upwards that's no longer the case and possibility, because it uses browser built-in commands feature.
Please test again and I'd highly suggest you to use incognito (and allow only ultrawideo in incognito) to make sure that it's not some other extension that interfered with UltraWideo, making your actions have input lag.
Kind regards! - Rated 5 out of 5by days, 2 years ago
