I did not expect a response from the dev but it was a pleasant surprise. I did see the responses to other reviews but wasn't sure. I tried the fixes/suggestions provided. They work, thank you. I was evaluating to see if i should purchase the family plan.
This proves the level the service they provide. Please keep this up. I purchased the plan for an year. Thank you.
For interested parties i did not use the same email address for this review as the free trail account in case of cheeky business :). They do respond to every review.

Ctrl+Period shortcut never worked. It opens app when i want to use the browser extension. Not sure why app is needed when i am using the browser extension.
It does not have an option (easily available) to generate new password. It does not allow me to choose the length and types of characters in the password it generated. The UI is clunky.
For writing this review i had to create a firefox account. It did not prompt to create password.

posted 4 years agoHey there,
Sorry to hear you’ve had a rough landing with our extension.
Most of the points you’ve raised can be adjusted in the extension’s settings page (right-click the extension icon and select “Settings”).
In the settings page, you can change the keyboard shortcut to something else that is available and works.
You can also turn off the integration with the desktop app so the extension would work separately and won’t launch the desktop app at all.
You can generate new passwords in the generator, which is found in the extension’s menu - click the extension’s icon in Firefox’s toolbar, select the PLUS icon to reveal the menu and select “Password Generator”.
You can also change/set the default password recipe so it will always suggest your own recipe instead of our smart passwords.
If you have any further questions, feel free to email us and we’ll be happy to help you get everything working as you’d like it to :)

- Rated 1 out of 5by aclacy, 14 days agoBeen trying to recover my wife's account for almost 6 months. Nothing you tell me to do recovers this account. I have tried and so has she but there is a problem with with the directions. The items you say are suppose to pop up don't. The BOT is useless as is the help you try to provide by clicking on help. Can't speak to a human and when getting the code for them to email you. It takes days for them to help. Very unhappy with 1 Password.
- Rated 1 out of 5by billdwp, 18 days agoWhen and if it works it's great; however, that's less than 50% of the time. I have to keep opening the program and copy and pasting the passwords into the websites. This is a real hassle, I've tried to correct it, but none of the suggestions have worked.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Blue, a month ago5/30/25 update: Extremely strange and annoying that adding a login via the browser extension is visible in only the desktop app--not the browser extension in which I added the new login. I did this twice. I had to quit Firefox for the new login to show up in the browser extension. This extension obviously needs a lot of work; it's still at the amateur level.
Extremely finicky and buggy extension. Touch ID STILL randomly goes away as an option to open the browser extension, not on only on Firefox but also on other browsers. I used to have to open the desktop app to open or use the extension, or disable then enable the extension. Now doing so doesn't help. And yes, Touch ID is selected in settings. What's the use of the Touch ID option if it randomly doesn't work? The extension is good when it decides it wants to work. - Rated 4 out of 5by Tom, 2 months ago
