- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14419949, 7 years agoBait & Switch - when you try to download in any format some lame message appears about youtube switching the format and if you go pro (at least $10) then you can download in all the formats shown. Absolutely does not work at all as a free app.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14419121, 7 years agoThis is by far the easiest, and most comprehensive YouTube video downloader I've used. Keep up the very fine work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14224515, 7 years agoEasy Youtube Video Downloader is by far the least efficient and worste maintained Youtube downloader on the web. It works from time to time,"No media to process in the current tab" is what I get 90% of the time. Wast of time.

posted 7 years agoIt's sad you rushed to post a negative review even after this was released as a quick and dirty fix to recent Youtube code changes. Anyways, I have pushed update v 14 which fixes the refresh issue, if you like it pls. edit your rating and review. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13721914, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by einexile, 7 years agoIf this new process of stream conversion requires such "powerful server infrastructure," why is the author willing to provide that at a flat rate? In fact there are applications that perform this function on the user's end at virtually no cost.
The app I use (which I won't name but is easily searched) has this in its free edition, and does the work during the download without ever using more than 5% of available resources. This on an processor manufactured in 2011. A twenty minute 1080p video downloaded and converted in just over 3 minutes. Yet virtually every addon developer claims that the conversion must happen at their end, and they will need to charge the user for this service. Nonsense!
The author has every right to paygate this feature as convenience, but NOT to assert that the feature is necessary to you or costly to him. This is misleading and in my view borders on predatory.Developer response
posted 7 years ago5% of resources for a single user, but how much for thousands of users at any given moment!! Add to that multiple requests to youtube server gets the server IP blocked. I hope you got the point sir :) You can achieve this from a desktop app but this is a web addon. Also, remember nothing comes free in this world, that free app of yours is most probably monetizing using your personal data and privacy while on your computer. I had received multiple offers to bundle those kinds of apps with my addon but I stayed away for obvious reasons. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13864351, 7 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14399629, 7 years agoI paid $30 to upgrade, clicked on the link in the email to activate, and nothing!!! The donate button did disappear from below the video but no the download options are black and not clickable. I can not even download in 360p. That was $30 I just threw down the toilet. They have turned off the support link also saying they are aware of problems. Perhaps they should not be advertising for $30 to upgrade for an HD download if they know it is not working. Isn't that false advertisement?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14397847, 7 years agoSince we cannot download anything above 360p it becomes a LOT less useful compared to other existing plugins => I am uninstalling it
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12480745, 7 years agoIt's crap. It allows you to download 360p and 720p and higher asks for money. Don't use it. Use Any Video Converter Ultimate

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14396030, 7 years agoDoes not work. It just takes you to another page that requests that you pay for service.
