by Dale E Sedivec, 7 years agoLove it! I have tried all the major password managers for Firefox, and Keeper is the most consistent and reliable. I am a retired programmer and fairly obsessed with finding the best security and password apps.
When I first setup the addon, I was having some difficulty with 2-Factor Authentication, where Keeper was requesting the 2-Factor code on every signon. Then I realized that you need to retain the cookie info for Keeper - I was clearing all cookies on exit from Firefox. So, I made the following changes in the Options and Privacy & Security section of Firefox:
For "Clear history when Firefox closes", set Cookies to "unchecked".
Under the cookie options, set "Keep until" to "I close Firefox".
Under the cookie "Exceptions", add the link "https://keepersecurity.com" as "Allow".
After the above changes, Keeper will only ask for the 2FA code on the first logon, and the Firefox cookies will still be cleared on exit from Firefox (except for the required Keeper cookies).
Hope the above helps someone, as it was driving me crazy.

have to keep the extension disabled or just use the website - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19213209, 9 days agoSlows down Firefox so much that I had to disable it
- Rated 2 out of 5by CactusPie, 11 days agoAfter some time the autofill stops working and it starts freezing the browser briefly every time a page loads. Had the same thing happen on regular Firefox and on Waterfox.
On top of that, there's no way to blacklist some sites from autofill, which results in annoying auotfill popups or the KeeperFill icon covering some smaller input fields completely. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19126791, a month agoThis extension progressively slows down Firefox as it reaches extremely high CPU consumption.
I need to keep it disabled unlesss I need to use it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19097538, a month agoStrong password protection. Not easiest to use, however, it is very useful and protective.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Alex, a month agoThis extension is lagging and slowing down firefox so much, that I genuinely have to disable it when I don't need to use it because googling something or opening a new page adds an extra one or two seconds of loading in order for the website to load instead of them loading in under a second. It is infuriating. Even with all of the prompts and recognition of password fields disabled, the extension still lags webpages an extreme amount.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14204524, 3 months agoIt looks like the latest version 17.1.1 slows down the browser very much.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18104150, 3 months agoWith version 1.7.1.1 every time I close the browser I lose the login. This misses the point of an extension, which is to simplify life, so it complicates it.

Exceptional security by requesting authentication first ( very few sites work this way ), especially if this involves a hardware security key ...
Canadians should log in to CA server ... not explicit in info though and keep the site in their bookmarks - Rated 5 out of 5by Sumeet Prajapati, 3 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Gonzo, 3 months agoGreat Addon. The lastest version (17.1.1.) doesn't stay logged in when I close firefox. Version 17.01 worked without problem.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Renata, 3 months agoPretty easy to work with. The code for the 2FA is quick so I like that about it. Tells me when to change my passwords due to compromised logins and such. I enjoy it better than lastpass or whatever.
