- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15079577, 5 years agoDoes not recognize PDFs on many publisher pages (tried tandfonline.com, academic.oup.com, and many others) where the previous version detected them easily.
Does not give the possibility to save a reference and PDF directly from the PDF viewer on the browser, which was possible before if I am not mistaking.
Mendeley is a great tool for researchers but this version of the web importer still needs improvements.Developer response

UPDATE
Now if I use Mendeley Web Importer on a PDF the following message appear: "For security, Firefox blocks extensions running on PDF files".
It is a pity that the extension does not work in a browser as good and safe as Firefox. It is time to go back to Chrome again. - Rated 5 out of 5by Syarief Fajaruddin, 6 years ago
