RE-ANCHOR by ULT7RA

Large language models such as ChatGPT and Gemini can lose coherence as conversations grow lengthy. Re-Anchor restores continuity by capturing the full dialogue and exporting it as .txt or .html. Exports preserve links to any files or images shared during the session.
Once saved, start a new thread and upload the file to re-anchor the model and continue exactly where the previous exchange ended.

What it does

One-click export of the entire visible conversation (user + assistant).

Formats: plain text (.txt) or rich HTML (.html).

Preserves links to uploaded files and images.

Google Docs export: will be enabled after Google completes OAuth verification (temporarily disabled in this build).

How to use it

Open a ChatGPT or Gemini conversation.

Click the Re-Anchor icon and choose TXT or HTML.

In a fresh thread, upload the file and paste this prompt:

“Review the uploaded file from start to tail end. RE-ANCHOR and align. Please begin exactly where we left off in the previous conversation outlined in the uploaded file. Confirm RE-ANCHOR and proceed. Thank you.”

Privacy

All processing happens locally in your browser.

No analytics, no tracking, no server-side storage.

The extension only runs on chat.openai.com, chatgpt.com, and gemini.google.com.
