About this extension
SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

Supports Invidious, old YouTube and mobile YouTube.

With this extension, you will automatically skip YouTube sponsors.

Note: this update requires the addition of the unlimited_storage permission to fix an issue on Firefox where the extension would stop working when your computer is close to the storage limit, and for the new channel skip profile feature
  • Added channel skip profiles
  • You can now choose which categories you want to skip for each channel
  • The settings are grouped into "skip profiles" that can be toggled on per channel, current video, current tab, or temporarily for the next hour
  • This replaces the former whitelisting system
  • Improve error handling and messages (thanks @mini-bomba )
  • Add better UI for nested chapters (thanks @gosha305 )
  • Fix thumbnails not displaying full video labels on new YouTube layout
