- Rated 5 out of 5by JP Howlett, 3 years agoI've used IDM for many years now and it's terrific. It gets around web sites that want to throttle downloads and even sites that want to restrict downloads and prevent you from saving videos.
It also has a great feature for ripping through a site and downloading everything. You give it a root path and pattern and can also have it follow links.
This is the kind of product I usually only see for Linux -- software that let's you access the full potential of your system -- rip off that governor, remove the restricter plate and just go.
