- Rated 1 out of 5by SDM, 17 days agoworks ok until it forces you to download and install itself on your computer for larger media. kinda suspicious. Also now you need to pay or they put a watermark on the vid you downloaded.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Sam, 17 days agoDoesn't work at all. Requires additional app even for basic work. Even after installing that app, it doesn't work and still throws errors.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Vincent, 17 days agoThere's a huge QR code on downloaded videos to force people into purchasing a license. The downloaded videos are now unwatchable. So the app lost its purpose.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13675931, 18 days agoAny extension that prompts you to install another app to function is a BIG no go, even if it is recommended by Mozilla.

- Rated 1 out of 5by X5-176, 19 days ago1 Star rating he's now putting a qr code on our videos being downloaded to force us to buy, already bad enough he wanted us to download a 3rd party companion app to make the extension work properly.
This was a bait and switch on his part, he wanted as many people as possible to download and use the extension and now he's trying to force us to buy it, pretty scummy imo.
Uninstalled and possibly never coming back to it, there's other alternatives this was just the easiest at the time.
Will keep come back now and then to make sure others know how bad and scummy this move was though. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19171894, 19 days agoNeed to download 3rd party application and add QR code to video. There are better alternatives.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Boysie, 20 days agoThey are forcing you to pay now and putting a big QR code in videos you download
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19164273, 20 days agoUm das Video zu downloaden braucht man noch ein externes Programm. Nein danke!
- Rated 1 out of 5by EtherWhack, 21 days agoThey need to either provide an option to disable to opening a new tab to show it update (which is distracting especially in the middle of work) -or- just disable that "feature" altogether.
- Rated 1 out of 5by digitialmagi, 22 days agoForces you to download another program to your pc before you can download.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14351270, 22 days agoNo ha hecho ni una sola descarga en Youtube. Lo he probado con unos videos y en varias resoluciones.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Chase, 22 days agoIt's gone rotten, spams a big QR code nearly a quarter the size of the video on the files it downloads now. Look for alternatives, they're out there.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Gozer, 24 days agoThe app would be amazing if there was not a giant watermark on any video you download, unless you pay for the license. I would be more understanding if the "about" section would clarify on this but it doesn't, which feels deceptive on the devs part. It not hard to add that info in so user can make an informed download. Regardless you can achieve the same ability to download videos using multiple different desktop downloaders, which ending up being the choice I made after have a watermark cover almost half of the video i was downloading.
TL;DR: Extension works great as advertised but doesn't inform you that you will have a watermark on downloaded videos unless you pay roughly $30usd for a license - Rated 1 out of 5by lkuizon, 24 days agoPaid for a license. I haven't used VDH in about 2 months. And now it is not working on web pages I have downloaded from before. Very disappointed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by jayswizzle, 24 days agoA scam. It's not free, unless you like watermarks obscuring 25% your video.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14268629, a month agoA bait and switch, claims to be free but then requires a license to work properly.
