About this extension
Discover the hidden details in any web image with a single right-click using Visionati Image Scanner, a Firefox extension powered by the Visionati API. This intuitive tool harnesses advanced AI from models like Claude, Grok, OpenAI, and Gemini to deliver rich descriptions, accurate tags, and NSFW detection, transforming how you interact with images online. Whether you’re an artist seeking inspiration, a marketer brainstorming captions, or simply curious about a photo’s context, this extension brings tailored insights directly to your browser.

Personalize your experience by selecting a role that matches your needs—choose from Artist, Caption, Comedian, Critic, General (the default), Ecommerce, Inspector, Promoter, Prompt, Realtor, or Tweet. Each role shapes the AI’s output, so an Artist might reveal stylistic nuances, while a Tweet crafts concise, shareable text. For even more precision, add a custom prompt, such as “Highlight the mood and lighting,” to guide the analysis exactly where you want it. The extension supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images, with clear error messages for unsupported formats like SVG, ensuring you always know what’s happening.

Flexibility defines this tool’s design. Pick from top-tier AI backends—Claude, Grok, OpenAI, and Gemini for detailed descriptions, or Clarifai, Google Vision, and Rekognition for tagging and NSFW screening—to get results that suit your task. Your scans are stored locally in a navigable history, adjustable up to 50 entries, making it easy to revisit or compare findings in a clean popup interface. In Firefox, you’ll need to click the extension icon to view results, as automatic popup opening isn’t supported, but the toggle for this feature remains in the options for future compatibility.

Setup is effortless. After installing, open the options page to enter your Visionati API key (available at api.visionati.com), select backends, choose a role, and set a custom prompt if desired. Fine-tune history depth, save your settings, and start scanning. Settings sync across devices for consistency, and images are processed securely as base64 data URLs, respecting your privacy.

Perfect for artists, marketers, developers, or anyone curious about images, Visionati Image Scanner adapts to your workflow with precision and ease. From creative analysis to practical tagging, it empowers you to see the web through an AI’s eyes. Install now and unlock a smarter way to explore images.
